When I came out to my she was a little hesitant but accepting. We agreed on some ground rules which I have tried to abide by to avoid conflict. Luckily, the rules keep getting broader so I am allowed more in her presence everyday. It has helped to involve her in my online business, Genie, The Crossdress Store as she has an interest in making it a success. Although she thinks the breast forms are funny she is very helpful in selecting the dresses, blouses and skirts I carry. She also enjoys helping me find lingerie for sale. Soon, she will have no choice but to deal with me as Nicolle since the company she owns is helping me to organize a weekend event for members of the crossdress and transgender community. My original idea was for a small gathering at one of the local hotels with a few fun things to do. Being an event planner she wouldn’t hear of something like that and took over. What evolved was a crossdress and transgender vacation to beat them all.
It has become an all inclusive weekend conference with entertainment and workshops at the luxurious Deerhurst Resort, which is the site of the 2010 G8 Summit. There will be a dance, free workshops on subjects like feminine voice and movement and dance, and a free broadway style show (which is the same show that launched Shania Twain). There is no cost for anything after registration except for alcohol and spa, which is on site and does everything from pedicures and manicures to full hair removal and wraps. Participants can also take advantage of the fitness room, tennis and squash courts and the indoor pool. We are also holding a Diva lip sync contest with cash prizes for the winner.
As the host I will have to spend the entire holiday as Nicolle and my wife, as the event planner, will have no choice to interact with me. My daughter is also going to be there helping. It will definitely be a weekend I will never forget and should make every crossdresser or transgender person who attends feel like a princess (or queen)
